பூக்கள்
வெட்கமின்றி சிரித்ததுகொட்டும் மழையில்
குளிக்கும் ரோஜாப்பூ
சூரியன் மறைவில்
கூம்பிய மலர்கள்
மூடிப்பிடித்தவை அப்
பாவி வண்டுகள்
பனிபூக்க முகம் பூக்கும்
நான் வளர்க்கும்
ரோஜாப்பூ
மனிதரோடு மாடுகள்
போகும் ஊரோர
தார்ச்சாலை மரங்கள்
இறைந்திருக்கும்
மலர்கள்
இரவில் ஊரார் கால்
கழுவ
போகுமிடம் பெருமாள்
குளம்
புண்ணாய் நீரெல்லாம்
ஊதாப்பூ
வேலைக்குப் போகும்
மகளிராய்
பஸ் ஸ்டாண்டில்
கூடைப்பூ
அருகழைத்து பின்
விரதமென்று புறந்
தள்ளும் பவழ மல்லி.

one of the earliest Tamil modern poetries from the book " PULLI ". I have only heard about this tiny book but has not read it.
Thanks for posting them in the blog.
An introduction about the book would have been more
helpful for the young readrers. ,
